How to prepare for bank exam








  • Before starting the preparation of the exam, aspirants should go through the syllabus because it will help you to evaluate the topics at the first place and it will also make you aware about the pattern in the exam.
  • Prepare with a stopwatch beside Candidates who are undergoing rigorous preparation and are studying hard for the banking examination, need to understand the factor that time plays in their success. They should practice the papers with a stopwatch before them and count the time they are clocking to solve certain number of questions in certain paper.
  • Understand the exam pattern and syllabus Before starting to read a word about any of the papers included in the syllabus of the banking examination, the candidates must undergo the syllabus and examination pattern thoroughly.
  • Find the best method of solving the question in which you are comfortable with.
  • You must make a habit of reading English Newspaper daily. This will help you to improve your English Language and to form critical views about current and social issues.
  • Whenever you come across a new word, find its meaning, synonyms, antonyms, and different usages and try to make sentences with the new word.
  • In the beginning of preparation do not focus on speed, be focus on accuracy.
  • At least one moth before the exam start giving online mock test, which will boost your confidence of solving the questions
  • Learn Speed Math tricks (Many of them are available on Youtube), do a lot of mental Math in everyday’s life and make yourself able to calculate really fast. Get an in-depth understanding of chapters such as Simplification, Average, Percentage, Ratio, Profit and Loss and Data Interpretation. 
  • Practice plays an important role in the selection process for any exam. Put your energy positively in preparing and practicing. Never be harsh or stress yourself too much.
  • Preparation is a process and nothing else. Don’t take it out very harshly on yourself. Just enjoy the learning phase without thinking too much about the results. Go out and have quality time with your near and dear ones. Don’t isolate yourself from everything in the name of bank exams preparation by self-study.
